Synopsis:
The biodiversity studies are challenging, especially, in the selection of sampling techniques to record existence of biodiversity. As an example, visual census has a limitation, because not all types of environment can be accurately recorded . These methods also tend not to collect the full range of biodiversity present when limited samples are used.
This book contains theory and sampling technique for eDNA study in water and soil(sediments). Hence, the implementation of eDNA study is used to answer some questions about biodiversity in Indonesia, both in waters and land.
